The brief, and what we did with it
The existing flat was cut into six small rooms. We removed everything non-structural and replaced it with a single 11-metre joinery spine that stores, divides and lights the whole apartment.
Because ceiling height was the real constraint, all lighting is wall-mounted or integrated — there is not a single downlight in the project.
Pale oak floors and off-white limewash bounce what daylight there is; the accent colour arrives entirely through textiles.
